How long do bear skin rugs last?

How much does it cost to tan a bear hide?

The cost of tanning your bear hide will depend on several factors. These include 1.) the size of the hide, 2.) the tanning method used, and 3.) the taxidermist/tanner’s rates. Prices can range from $150 to $500. Additionally, some tanners might charge extra for bear hides that require additional cleaning or repair.

Is it legal to have a bear rug?

Whether it’s legal to own bear rug comes down to which state you reside in. Some states are okay to sell all types of bear products, while others cannot sell other types. All prohibited states include: Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia.
